Ignyte Assurance LLC (Ignyte) complies with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and holds accreditation by the International Accreditation Service (IAS) for ISO 27001. The following disclosures demonstrate our commitment to confidentiality, impartiality, independence, and the trust of our Customers and relevant stakeholders in our certification services.

Audit and Certification Process

Ignyte offers audit and certification services that fully align with all pertinent standards. Our audit and certification procedures are made available to prospective Customers and encompass each significant phase of the audit and certification processes. Customers are also informed about their rights and responsibilities when applying for, and maintaining, certification of a management system.

The scope, timing, and deliverables of our services, as well as the rights and obligations of both parties, are outlined in a formal agreement between Ignyte and the Customer before any audit or certification services commence.

Confidentiality

Ignyte Assurance LLC is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality in all certification-related activities. We ensure that any information obtained during the certification process, including data related to customers’ management systems, personnel, and operations, is treated as confidential unless otherwise required by law or accreditation obligations. Access to such information is restricted to authorized personnel, and disclosure to third parties will not occur without the explicit consent of the customer, except where legally mandated. Our confidentiality procedures are designed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 to uphold trust, transparency, and the integrity of the certification process.

Impartiality

Impartiality is a fundamental value within Ignyte's certification services. Our organization, along with our personnel, maintains independence in both fact and appearance from our Customers. Certification decisions are based solely on objective criteria, free from bias or prejudice.

Ignyte operates in compliance with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and has established an independent impartiality committee. This committee’s primary role is to safeguard the impartiality of our certification services.

Certification Status 

The certification status of Ignyte's Customers can be verified using our Certificate and Customer Directory. This directory provides confirmation of our certification Customers and their current certification status. 

Suspension Policy

Ignyte will suspend Customers who fail to comply with the conditions of certification. During suspension, the Customer’s certification is considered invalid. Any suspensions are clearly reflected in the certificate status field of our Certificate and Customer Directory.

Appeals Process

If a Customer disputes any decision related to their certification, Ignyte provides a structured appeals process. Customers may submit their appeals using the designated form. Upon receipt, the appeal will be acknowledged, and Ignyte will appoint independent personnel, who were not involved in the original certification decision, to review the appeal. The review will be conducted impartially, ensuring that all relevant information is considered. The Customer will be informed in writing of the outcome, including the rationale for the decision. The appeals process is designed to ensure fairness and transparency, maintaining the integrity of Ignyte's certification services​.

Complaints

Ignyte takes all complaints seriously, whether they pertain to our own activities or those of our certified Customers. Complaints should be submitted through the appropriate form, after which they will be formally acknowledged. Upon receipt, a thorough investigation will be conducted, ensuring that the complaint is addressed impartially and effectively. Ignyte is committed to resolving complaints promptly and keeping the complainant informed throughout the process. If necessary, additional corrective actions will be taken to address the issue at hand. Ignyte does not disclose details of the complaint or the parties involved, unless legally required to do so​.

Certification Mark Usage Guidelines

All certified Customers are required to adhere to Ignyte’s Certification Mark Usage Guidelines. These guidelines are accessible and are applicable to ISO 27001 certification.
